FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Sep, 2026) The soil of Chak No. 220-GB, Samundri, was wrapped in grief and pride as funeral prayer was offered for Pakistan Army soldier Muhammad Bilal who embraced martyrdom while defending the motherland during a terrorist attack in Balochistan.
According to the family, Sepoy Muhammad Bilal, a resident of Chak No.220-GB, Samundri, was performing his national duty in Balochistan when terrorists launched an attack, in which he laid down his life for the defense of the country.
His funeral prayer was offered at his native village after Asr prayer, where a large number of relatives, friends, villagers and people from different walks of life participated and paid tribute to the martyred army soldier.
The atmosphere remained deeply emotional as the coffin of martyred soldier was brought to his native area. After funeral prayer, the body was laid to rest with full guard of honor.
The people also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and paid rich tribute to Muhammad Bilal for rendering ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The family members said that the loss of Muhammad Bilal had left them heartbroken, but they were proud that their son had sacrificed his life for the defense of Pakistan. They said that his devotion to duty and love for the country would remain a source of honor and inspiration for the family.
They also prayed that may Allah Almighty grant the martyr highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give courage and patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
The participants of the funeral prayed for elevation of the martyr’s ranks and for safety and security of the country.
They said that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s soldiers would never be forgotten and the nation stood firmly with the families of its martyrs.
Sepoy Muhammad Bilal’s martyrdom has plunged his native village Chak No.220-GB into mourning while his sacrifice has once again underscored the heavy price being paid by the country’s armed forces in fight against terrorism.
