HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Aug, 2026) The Weekly meeting of Sindhi Adabi Sangat Hyderabad Chapter was held at Khana Badosh Writers Cafe Sindh Museum Hyderabad, under the chairmanship of renowned writer and educationist Professor Idris Jatoi.
The proceedings were conducted by Joint Secretary Gul Sindhi.
Speaking about the ‘Waai’ of Mola Bakhsh Mohabbati, Wahid Kandharo said that ‘Kaafi’ is a good genre in poetry and has been sung by Singers a lot in the raag.
Idris Jatoi said that poetry is that which touch the hearts.
Commenting on Saleem Chana’s story, Abid Anwar, Nazeer Malkani and Wahid said that this is not a symbolic story. Imran Soomro said that actors, artists and poets are special people in society.
Dr. Qazi Khadim said that there is no art in the story, it should not be deleted.
Syed Zawar Naqvi said that the title of the story affects its Significance.
Sharing views on the prose poem of Abid Anwar, Professor Dr. Qazi Khadim said that the poet should know what type of technical things include in poetry.
He said that I used to listen Mushairas on tv and give applause from the core of my heart.
Hakim Mangi said that poetry should be written with responsibility as his every world should reflect his responsibility. Wahid Kandharo and Gul Sindhi said that the words in a prose poem are the ending and the climax.
Idris Jatoi said that the important genres of Sindhi poetry have been presented in the literary session.
Malkani, Wahid Kandharo, Hakim Mangi, Waheed Gahho, Abid Anwar, Imran Soomro, Saleem Chana, Mola Bakhsh Mohabati and Shad Namai participated.
