He was accompanied by Nawab Furqan Khan, chairman of the traditional sports and games Pakistan association, and Askhat Akimbayev, founder of the world nomad games concept, says a handout.
In a memorable and proud moment, Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand presented Askhat Akimbayev with a traditional Chitrali Pakol, symbolizing the rich cultural heritage, hospitality and traditional warmth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa being sports loving province of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarand said the games serve not only to promote traditional sports but also as an excellent platform for strengthening cultural ties, mutual respect, friendship and unity among different nations.
He said it was a matter of pride for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to showcase its centuries-old traditions, culture and traditional sports on the international stage.
