ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th Aug, 2026) Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Wednesday paid tribute to Pakistani youth on the occasion of International Youth Day, terming them as the country’s most valuable asset and the hope for a bright future.
In a message, the minister said Pakistan’s progress, prosperity and stability were closely linked with effectively utilizing the potential of its young generation.
He said providing the youth with opportunities for quality education, skills development, employment and personal growth was among the government’s top priorities.
Hanif Abbasi said the present government was making serious efforts to promote and empower young people and utilize their capabilities for national development.
He urged the youth to equip themselves with modern education and skills and play their role in transforming Pakistan into a developed and strong country.
“The hard work, determination and creative abilities of our youth are the guarantee of Pakistan’s bright future,” he said.
The minister said the country’s journey towards development could not be completed without the active participation and capable leadership of the younger generation.
