MULTAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Aug, 2026) Veteran Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Punjab provincial minister Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi passed away on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi was among the party’s founding workers and remained a loyal supporter of the PML-N throughout his political career.
He stood by the party during it’s difficult time and rendered valuable services in Punjab politics.
The veteran politician also served as a provincial minister and was widely recognised for his long political experience and public services.
He was survived by six sons and a daughter.
His funeral prayer would be offered tomorrow (Monday) at 10am at Aam Khas Bagh, Multan.
The PML-N leadership and party workers expressed deep sorrow over his demise.
