GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 29th Aug, 2026) Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) President Ahmed Hassan
inaugurated the Uzbekistan visa Facilitation Center at the Chamber during an
online meeting with Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Alisher Tukhtaev.
According to an official source, Group Leader Haji Nasir Mahmood, CEO Travel Operations Sajjad Anwar, executive committee members and other representatives of the business community also participated in the meeting.
The establishment of the center will facilitate the business community of Gujrat in obtaining
Uzbekistan visas through the Gujrat Chamber, eliminating the need to travel to Islamabad
for visa-related matters.
The initiative is expected to facilitate business travel and further strengthen trade and economic
ties between the business communities of Gujrat and Uzbekistan.
