BUREWALA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th Aug, 2026) City Burewala police have arrested two members of a motorcycle theft gang and traced 11 cases, recovering 11 stolen motorcycles worth Rs17.7 million, police said.
The arrested suspects were identified as Saddam alias Dani, a resident of Chak 447/EB, and Muhammad Shahbaz, a resident of Chak 124/EB.
According to police, the suspects used to steal motorcycles from Burewala and adjoining areas and sell them in different areas. The gang was traced with the help of modern technology and IT gadgets.
SHO City Burewala Mazhar Fareed Gondal and his team took part in the operation.
SDPO Burewala Circle Rana Muhammad Imran Tipu handed over the recovered motorcycles to their original owners.
DPO Vehari Tassawar Iqbal said a crackdown against organised and active criminal gangs was being intensified.
