KHANEWAL, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th Aug, 2026) District Traffic Police intensified efforts to promote road safety awareness among students and the general public in line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of “Safe Journey, Safe Punjab.”
Under the supervision of District Traffic Officer (DTO) Khanewal Muhammad Qaddafi, the education Unit of District Traffic Police organized a road safety awareness lecture at Government Model Higher Secondary school, Khanewal.
In-charge Education Unit Raja Hassan Mansoor delivered the lecture and sensitized students about essential road safety measures, including the importance of wearing safety helmets, maintaining lane and line discipline, observing stop lines, following traffic laws and obtaining valid driving licences.
He also briefed the students about juvenile driving permits and urged them to strictly follow traffic rules and demonstrate responsible behaviour as road users.
Raja Hassan Mansoor emphasized that adherence to traffic laws was essential for preventing road accidents and protecting precious human lives.
District traffic police was working to promote traffic discipline and ensure safe journey to general public.
