HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Aug, 2026) The Hyderabad police arrested a suspected street criminal in injured condition after an encounter in Bhatti Goth area near Fateh Chowk in the limits of Tando Yousuf police station.
The police spokesman informed here on Monday that an exchange of fire occurred between the police and 3 armed suspects in Bhatti Goth area.
He added that one of the suspects sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and was subsequently arrested, while his two accomplices managed to escape.
He claimed that the police recovered an unlicensed pistol and a stolen Honda CG 125 motorbike from the possession of the suspect identified as Muzaffar Mirani.
The suspect was later shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for surgery on his bullet wound, while police continued their search to arrest the two accomplices who escaped.
