BATTAGRAM, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Battagram, Muhammad Shoaib on Friday said that resolving public grievances at their doorstep and ensuring timely provision of basic facilities were among the top priorities of the provincial government and district administration.
He was speaking at an open court held in Batta Mori, Tehsil Battagram, where local residents presented complaints concerning sanitation, drainage, water supply, electricity, roads, solar lights and health facilities.
Officials from various departments, including administration, revenue, police, education, health, irrigation, WAPDA, social welfare and Communication and Works, besides elected representatives and a large number of local residents, attended the open court.
Residents highlighted issues concerning sanitation, drainage, water supply, electricity, prolonged load-shedding, deteriorating roads, street construction and repair, forests, solar street lights and health facilities.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Shoaib listened to the complaints and issued on-the-spot directions for resolving several issues. He also directed Additional Assistant Commissioner Battagram Sher Dil Khan to coordinate closely with the relevant departments, supervise remedial measures and submit regular progress reports.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said resolving public grievances at their doorstep and ensuring timely provision of basic facilities were among the top priorities of the provincial government and district administration.
He said open courts were being regularly organised in urban and rural areas to provide citizens with a direct platform to raise their concerns. He urged people to openly present their complaints before relevant officials so that necessary action could be taken on a priority basis.
