CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th Aug, 2026) On the special directives of Secretary Emergency Services Department Dr. Rizwan Naseer (Sitara-i-Imtiaz), Rescue 1122 Chiniot has finalized a comprehensive emergency and medical coverage plan for processions and religious gatherings to be held across the district on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal. The arrangements have been made under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Engineer Muhammad Imran Bhatta.
According to Rescue 1122, its officers and personnel will provide medical coverage and emergency services to major processions across the district. Special coverage will be provided to processions proceeding from Lalian to Central Jamia Masjid Ghousia, Faizan-e-Madina in Bhowana, Darbar Wadi Aziz Sharif Chiniot, Darbar Pir Syed Shah Hamdani, Jamia Masjid Khokhran Wali, Central Jamia Masjid Farooqia, Jamia Masjid Ahrar Chenab Nagar, Harsa Sheikh and Mouza Salare.
Rescue ambulances, motorcycle rescue units, fire tenders and other emergency vehicles will remain deployed along the procession routes to ensure immediate and effective response in case of any emergency. Rescue teams will remain on standby throughout the events to deal with any untoward incident.
On this occasion, District Emergency Officer Engineer Muhammad Imran Bhatta, while exclusively talking to APP, said the special emergency plan would not affect routine Rescue 1122 operations, which would continue without interruption across the district. He appealed to citizens to immediately dial Rescue Helpline 1122 in case of any emergency.
