LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd Sep, 2026) The Punjab government makes birth, death certificate fee free for another three years and has given relief on late registration fee of birth and death.
The government after amendment in Birth and Death Rules 2025, has extended fee waiver period for late registration.
According to official sources, the facility of free registration has been extended for another 3 years.
Regular gazette notification of fee waiver and extension of period was issued. Secretary Local Government Zaid bin Maqsood directed the DG Local Government for immediate implementation.
