SUKKUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Aug, 2026) President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Kingri taluka and former Provincial Secretary Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Suhag has congratulated PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the party’s success in the by-election for the Sindh Assembly constituency in Gambat.
In a statement on Monday, Dr. Suhag extended his felicitations to the party leadership after PPP candidate Barrister Asfandyar Kharal secured victory in the by-election for PS-30 Khairpur-V, which covers Sobho Dero and Gambat Taluka of Khairpur District.
The by-election was held on Sunday due to the death of MPA Naeem Ahmed Kharal. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had nominated Barrister Asfandyar Kharal, son of Saleem Kharal, as the party’s candidate for the seat on the party’s election symbol Arrow.
In congratulatory message, Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Suhag said that the victory of Isfandyar Kharal is the victory of the party’s workers, office bearers, and the people.
He further stated that the people of Sindh see the solution to their problems only in the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
Dr. Suhag also separately congratulated the winning candidate Isfandyar Kharal and his family on his success, and expressed hope that he will continue to serve people of his constituency.
