MIRPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Sep, 2026) A grand Mehfil-e-Milad-e-Mustafa (PBUH) held at Masjid Hussain, D-4, Mirpur, on Friday urged the faithful to follow the teachings and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) to attain success and peace in this world and the Hereafter. A large number of devotees from Mirpur and adjoining areas attended the gathering, which was presided over by Sajjadah Nashin of Darbar-e-Aalia Khari Sharif, Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Umar Bakhsh, while renowned religious scholar Professor Allama Nasir Sultan Siddiqui was the chief guest.
The Mehfil commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Imam Qari Shahid Hussain Awan, followed by soulful Naats in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the collective recitation of Durood-o-Salam, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Addressing the gathering, Professor Allama Nasir Sultan Siddiqui highlighted various aspects of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), describing his blessed life as a perfect model and an eternal source of guidance for humanity.
The scholar said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) demonstrated exemplary standards of love, brotherhood, justice, tolerance, forgiveness and noble character.
He stressed that true love for the Prophet (PBUH) required more than verbal expression and must be reflected through adherence to his Sunnah and teachings. He said the Prophet (PBUH) taught humanity to rise above distinctions of colour, race, language and tribe, respect the rights of others, stand with the oppressed and promote peace and harmony. He also added that the challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah could be overcome by strengthening its connection with the Seerah and incorporating its teachings into practical life.
Khatib of Masjid Hussain, Allama Maulana Mufti Muhammad Faizan Al-Mustafa, also emphasized the importance of following the Seerah and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The speakers also congratulated renowned Islamic preacher Sahibzada Allama Ijaz Ahmed Shami on establishing a mosque and vocational institute in Mirpur and acknowledged his religious and social services.
The Mehfil concluded with special prayers by Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Umar Bakhsh for the unity and welfare of the Muslim Ummah, peace and security in the country, prosperity and well-being of the participants, followed by collective Durood-o-Salam.
