KOHAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th Aug, 2026) A review meeting on ongoing development projects, departmental performance and public service delivery was held on Friday at the office of Deputy Commissioner Kohat, with Provincial Minister for Information, Science and Technology and IT Shafiullah Jan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning and officials from the district administration, Public Health, Health, education, Communication and Works (C&W), TMA Kohat, WSSC Kohat and other departments in attendance.
Officials briefed the meeting on the progress of ongoing development schemes, departmental reforms and performance indicators. The participants reviewed the implementation status of various projects and discussed measures to remove bottlenecks and improve the pace of development work across the district.
The meeting also directed the departments concerned to ensure that development projects were completed within the stipulated timelines and according to prescribed quality standards. Officials were also instructed to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and maintain regular oversight of ongoing schemes to ensure transparency and effective utilization of public funds.
The participants stressed the need for close coordination among departments and effective utilization of all available resources to improve public service delivery. The meeting reiterated that development schemes should be executed efficiently and completed without unnecessary delays to ensure maximum benefit to the people of Kohat.
