LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Aug, 2026) Italian Ambassador Ugo Ciarlatani and his wife visited the Walled City Lahore,
where they inspected various places related to the historical, cultural and
architectural heritage of the city.
During the visit, the Italian Ambassador and his wife observed the historical
buildings, ancient streets and other cultural sites of the Walled City Lahore.
The Ambassador appreciated the historical heritage of Lahore and its unique
cultural significance.
The Italian Ambassador was also informed about the steps taken by the
authorities to preserve the historical heritage, restore and renovate ancient
buildings.
