PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, renowned jurist and former chairman Senate Farooq H. Naik has been hailed for his outstanding legal services, steadfast commitment to the party and contributions to democracy and constitutional supremacy.
Shah Fahad Ansari, Advocate Supreme Court and Vice President High Court Bar Association, Dera Ismail Khan in a statement on Sunday said Naik had remained loyal to the PPP through difficult times and played a key role in promoting the Constitution, rule of law and democratic values.
He said Naik’s long legal career, spanning more than five decades, included serving as Deputy Attorney General for Pakistan, Federal Minister for Law and Justice and Chairman Senate, where he made valuable contributions to the country’s parliamentary and constitutional framework.
Ansari said Farooq H. Naik’s legal expertise, political experience and unwavering commitment to democratic principles should serve as an inspiration for young lawyers and political workers, adding that his services to the legal profession and the PPP would be remembered with respect.
