LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Aug, 2026) The administration of General Hospital has strongly refuted reports circulating
on social media regarding the treatment of 73-year-old patient Mian Khan,
stating that, contrary to the impression created by the reports, the patient
was provided complete medical attention and all possible facilities.
Mian Khan, a resident of Gulberg, was brought to the Emergency Department
on August 8, where doctors immediately examined him and informed his family
about the severity of his cancer and the complexity of his condition.
The patient had previously sought treatment at PKLI and Sheikh Zayed
Hospital, and his liver cancer had already progressed significantly.
The administration rejected the impression that the patient was neglected
and appealed to citizens not to rely on unverified or one-sided information
circulating on social media, urging them instead to consider the hospital’s
authentic medical records.
