Dera Ismail Khan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Sep, 2026) A detailed fire safety audit of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Paharpur and Sameena International Hospital Paharpur has found deficiencies in fire safety arrangements.
The inspection was conducted by a Civil Defence team led by In-charge Civil Defence Office Dera Ismail Khan Alamgir Khan and Instructor Ahsan Imdad on the special directives of Director Civil Defence Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Assistant Commissioner Paharpur Shahab Ahmed Marwat.
During the inspection, fire safety arrangements at both hospitals were declared unsatisfactory. Notices were issued to the respective administrations, directing them to address the identified deficiencies and ensure all necessary safety measures.
A detailed inspection report will be submitted to the district administration for further necessary action, the official said.
