QUETTA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Aug, 2026) Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) Focal Person and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Naeem Karim on Thursday said that freedom is a great blessing and our elders have made countless sacrifices for the freedom of Pakistan.
In his statement issued here on the occasion of 79th Independence Day, he said that its protection, development and progress are now our responsibility, and to fulfill this responsibility, we would have to forget all our factional and group differences and rise above all kinds of prejudices and work as a united nation.
Chaudhry Naeem Karim said that at present, the homeland is facing internal and external challenges and terrorism, enemy forces wanted to weaken and destabilize Pakistan by spreading unrest saying that we foil the evil intentions of the enemies by establishing complete unity and consensus in our ranks.
He said that Independence Day is a day of renewal and commitment, this day reminds us of the sacrifices of our elders who gave us a free and independent country saying that at present, anti-national forces are trying to harm Pakistan through terrorism and the Pakistan Army, FC, Police and other law enforcement agencies are fighting against anti-national forces.
He said that political differences within the country should be limited to political limits and national interests should be given priority at all times, things that are against freedom or harm national unity should not be acceptable under any circumstances.
He said that to strengthen Pakistan, it is imperative to promote unity, consensus and mutual brotherhood, we have to think beyond personal and political interests and in the broader interest of the country and nation, this approach could lead Pakistan on the path of development and prosperity.
