NATHIAGALI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 29th Aug, 2026) Eight illegal and unregistered guest houses have been sealed on Church Road in Nathia Gali during a crackdown aimed at ensuring regulated and quality facilities for tourists in the Galiyat region.
The action was taken on the directions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi and Special Assistant Malik Adil Iqbal.
Inspector Imran Haider Shah inspected various tourist units, guest houses, hotels and restaurants in Nathia Gali, Dunga Gali and Ayubia.
During the inspections, authorities also checked hygiene and food safety standards at hotels and restaurants in Dunga Gali and Ayubia. Expired food items found during the inspections were disposed of on the spot.
The department said action against illegal activities and substandard services would continue without discrimination to ensure safe, quality and better facilities for tourists.
