KOHAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Aug, 2026) District Police Officer Kohat, SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal, has continued the practice of holding daily Khuli Kachehri to address citizens’ grievances and ensure prompt resolution of complaints.
In this regard on Monday, during the session at his office, the DPO met residents from across the district, heard their petitions in detail, and issued directives to concerned officers for immediate action in accordance with law and merit. He said timely justice, disposal of public complaints, and strengthening police-community relations remain top priorities of Kohat Police.
The DPO instructed officials to treat complainants with courtesy at police stations, take their concerns seriously, and ensure prompt action. He added that no genuine complaint would be ignored and every possible relief would be provided under the law.
In a separate development, Kohat Police arrested suspects involved in shop theft incidents. Affected shopkeepers appreciated the police for the swift action and prompt recovery.
