CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th Aug, 2026) A grand Dawat-e-Islami rally was organized in Chenabnagar under the auspices of Majlis Ahrar islam Pakistan on Friday, drawing religious scholars, leaders, workers and participants from across the country. Addressing the gathering, Ahrar leader Syed Muhammad Kafeel Bukhari, Naib Ameer Haji Abdul Latif Khalid Cheema, Mian Muhammad Owais, Patron-in-Chief Shaban Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Mufti Muhammad Hassan, Qazi Arshad Hussaini, Syed Ata-ul-Manan Bukhari, Syed Muhammad Arshad Bukhari Advocate, Dr Umar Farooq Ahrar and others reaffirmed their commitment to the belief in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, describing it as a fundamental and definitive tenet of Islam on which, they said, there could be no compromise or expediency.
The speakers urged members of the Qadiani community to study the Holy Quran and the Seerat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), saying that the message of Islam was open to those who sincerely accepted the oneness of Allah Almighty and the finality of Prophethood. Syed Muhammad Kafeel Bukhari said the movement for safeguarding the belief in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat from Chenabnagar was not a temporary campaign but a continuation of the struggle of religious figures and activists of the subcontinent who had devoted their lives to the cause.
He said Majlis Ahrar Islam Pakistan would continue its efforts for the protection of the belief in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, promotion of Islamic teachings and preservation of religious traditions.
Mufti Muhammad Hassan alleged that certain secular organizations were working to undermine Islamic and Pakistani ideology, while Haji Abdul Latif Khalid Cheema claimed that Qadianis were facing difficulties in Rabwah and abroad. He referred to gatherings of former Qadianis in Britain and called upon the local and government administrations to address what he termed Qadiani activities in Rabwah. Syed Ata-ul-Manan Bukhari said any attempt to repeal laws protecting the sanctity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the belief in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat would amount to opening the door to apostasy. Other speakers emphasized the need to promote the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah and use reasoned and scholarly arguments to defend the belief in the finality of Prophethood.
The participants raised slogans in support of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, while the rally concluded with special prayers for the supremacy of Islam, stability and prosperity of Pakistan, unity of the Muslim Ummah and protection of the belief in the finality of Prophethood.
