Bugti detailed that during operations, 1,638 kilograms of crystal meth (ice) and 620 kilograms of hashish were confiscated and destroyed. Additionally, more than 27,000 bottles and cans of foreign liquor and beer were seized and disposed of in the province during the same period.

The government, he said, is committed to strengthening anti-narcotics measures while also addressing the social impacts of drug abuse.
The Chief Minister directed that operations against narcotics be made more effective and coordinated, ensuring indiscriminate action against drug trafficking, sale, and consumption. He reiterated that a drug-free Balochistan is among the government’s top priorities, and strict legal action will continue against those involved in the illicit trade.
