ATTOCK, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Aug, 2026) District Police Officer Attock, Captain (Retd) Ali Bin Tariq, on Monday ordered a continued crackdown against anti-state and criminal elements, vowing that no one will be spared and all offenders will face the full force of the law.
Acting on the DPO’s directives, Attock Police carried out operations across multiple police station jurisdictions. A total of seven suspects were arrested for alleged involvement in drug peddling, illegal possession of weapons, and unlawful gold mining.
According to police officials, Jand Police recovered 4.5 kilograms of hashish and a 30-bore pistol during an operation against drug dealers.
In separate actions, three suspects allegedly engaged in illegal gold mining were also taken into custody.Police confirmed that cases have been registered against all seven suspects at their respective police stations, and further legal proceedings are in progress.
