PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th Aug, 2026) The Shah Alam Tehsil administration has declared 27 housing societies and plotting schemes here illegal and advised citizens to refrain from purchasing plots or making investments in these schemes.
The administration warned citizens against booking plots in schemes including City Residencia, New Qurtaba Model Town, Old Qurtaba Model Town, Doctors Colony, Gulistan Colony, Khyber Town and Al-Madina Colony.
Other schemes declared illegal include Babuzai Garden, Overseas Colony, Al-Rashid Plotting, Qari Mustaqeem Plotting, Malikabad Colony, Nazim Javed and Maqsood Plotting, Haji Shafaat and Qadeem Plotting, and Gulshan-e-Madina Colony.
The list also includes Dr Ghulam Nabi and Muhammad Amin Plotting, Malik Zahid Plotting, Akbar Associates Plotting, Haji Noor Bashar and Sameen Gul Plotting, Haji Naeem Plotting, Wazir Plotting, Ehtesham, Asad and Dilroz Plotting, Haji Gul Dad and Ejaz Khan Plotting, New Gul Colony, Ayaz Khan Plotting, Aqar Plotting and Fareed Plotting.
The administration said sale and purchase of land in the declared illegal schemes was prohibited and urged citizens to verify the relevant housing scheme’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) before purchasing any plot.
It cautioned that investment in unapproved housing schemes could expose citizens to legal and financial complications in the future, stressing that all approvals and NOCs should be verified from the relevant authorities before any property transaction.
