CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Sep, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan on Friday visited Riaz Shah Road and Moazzam Shah Road and inspected the ongoing development works, including road construction, installation of Tuff Tiles and sanitation arrangements.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of the schemes and said that when she assumed charge in Chiniot, the condition of Riaz Shah Road was poor. She said the district administration had paid special attention to improving the road to provide better transportation facilities to citizens.
Ayesha Rizwan said Tuff Tiles had been installed along more than 1,100 feet of Riaz Shah Road, significantly improving its condition and facilitating public movement.
She added that the remaining portion would be covered with Tuff Tiles as soon as funds became available.
The Deputy Commissioner also noted a significant improvement in sanitation along Riaz Shah Road and directed the concerned officers and staff to further improve cleanliness arrangements. She stressed regular sanitation and cleanliness along roads to ensure a clean, healthy and better environment for citizens.
