LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd Sep, 2026) Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique on Thursday visited Lahore General Hospital and met security guard Hamid, who bravely risked his own life to save the lives of patients.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Faryad Hussain and other doctors were also present on the occasion.
The provincial minister directed the hospital administration and doctors to ensure the provision of the best possible treatment facilities to Hamid.
Khawaja Salman Rafique paid tribute to the courage and dedication of the security guard, saying that he salutes Hamid for risking his life to protect and save patients.
He announced that Hamid would also be awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his bravery and valuable services.
