CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Monday visited Irfan Qaiser Sheikh Park and Dilkhushab Park to review ongoing development and renovation works, cleanliness, facilities and maintenance arrangements.Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Muhammad Arif, Manager Shatra Punjab and other concerned officers accompanied her during the inspection.The DC reviewed progress of development works, green belts, walking tracks, plantations, sitting areas, lighting, cleanliness and other civic amenities in different parts of the parks.
Directing officials to prioritize cleanliness and beautification, she said maintaining all park facilities in functional and best condition was essential. Providing a healthy and clean environment to citizens is among the district administration’s top priorities and no negligence in regular cleaning and maintenance of parks will be tolerated, she added.
Ayesha Rizwan instructed officers to ensure proper care of greenery, plants and flowers, timely trimming of green belts, and regular maintenance of benches, lights, walking tracks and other facilities for citizens.She also reviewed the quality of ongoing beautification work at the under-construction Irfan Qaiser Sheikh Park and directed that all works be completed as per prescribed standards and within the given timeframe.
The Deputy Commissioner said public parks are an important source of recreation and healthy activity for citizens, especially children, women and the elderly, and their beauty, cleanliness and maintenance must be ensured at all costs.She further directed that daily monitoring and cleaning arrangements be made more effective and that all available resources be utilized to make the parks clean, green, beautiful and attractive for the public.
