SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Aug, 2026) Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) will organize an awareness
seminar on “Importance of Intellectual Property Rights for Trade Development”
here on Monday, August 31, 2026, for the benefit of business community.
According to the SCCI, Dr. Hafiz Aziz ur Rehman, Chairman IPO-Pakistan,
will visit the Sialkot Chamber to participate in the awareness session and
brief the business community about the significance of Intellectual Property
Rights (IPRs) in promoting trade and business development.
The seminar will provide valuable information about Intellectual Property Rights,
along with the services and facilities offered by the Intellectual Property Organization
of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan).
Particular emphasis will be placed on matters relevant
to businesses, entrepreneurs, innovators and exporters.
The seminar will be held at 10:45 A.M at Sheikh Muhammad Shafi Hall, SCCI.
The Sialkot Chamber has invited its members and representatives of the business
community to actively participate in the important awareness session and benefit
from the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about intellectual property protection
and its role in trade development.
