RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 29th Aug, 2026) Parliamentary Secretary for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Sultan Bajwa visited the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi and reviewed various ongoing development and horticulture projects across the city.
During the visit, a comprehensive review was conducted of projects being implemented under the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, including city beautification initiatives, green belts, parks, plantation drives, and other related matters.
The relevant officials briefed the Parliamentary Secretary on the progress of various projects and the facilities being provided to citizens.
Sultan Bajwa appreciated the efforts of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi to make the city greener, cleaner, and more beautiful.
He directed the concerned authorities to ensure that the ongoing projects are completed within the stipulated time frame.
He said that providing citizens with quality recreational facilities and a healthy environment is among the government’s key priorities.
He emphasized that special attention should be given to the beautification and maintenance of parks, green belts, and other public spaces so that citizens can benefit from a better and healthier environment.
The Parliamentary Secretary further stated that plantation and horticulture projects would be expanded further to enhance the beauty of Rawalpindi and improve the city’s environment. He stressed that quality and transparency must be ensured in the implementation of development projects.
