CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan chaired a meeting of the District Development Review Committee on Thursday to review in detail the progress of ongoing and new development schemes across the district.
Officials from the Highways, Buildings, Municipal Corporation, District Council, Development and other relevant departments attended the meeting. The participants reviewed the current status of development projects, quality of work, utilization of allocated funds and progress against set targets. The concerned officers also briefed the deputy commissioner on the progress of their respective schemes and highlighted issues affecting implementation.
Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan directed the officers to ensure completion of ongoing development schemes within the stipulated timelines and expedite all necessary formalities for launching new projects. She stressed that quality, transparency and timely execution must be ensured in all development works.
The deputy commissioner said no negligence would be tolerated in projects aimed at public welfare and directed all concerned officers to regularly monitor development schemes. She emphasized that close supervision was essential to ensure completion of projects according to approved standards, quality requirements and timelines.
