HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Aug, 2026) All Hyderabad Iron Steel Association celebrated the country’s 79th independence day by cutting a cake at Lohar market here on Thursday.
The association’s office bearers Haji Anwar Shaikh, Maqsood Chohan and others while expressing their views on the occasion praised struggles of the forefathers to win independence of Pakistan.
They accentuated the importance of living in a free country where people were at liberty to practice their religions without any fear of persecution.
They emphasized on the need of maintaining national unity to overcome the challenges of terrorism and subversive activities.
They said traders and industrialists were crucial to the country’s economy and for providing livelihoods to the people.
The national anthem and songs were also played on the occasion.
