TARBELA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Aug, 2026) Tarbela Dam’s reservoir remained at its maximum conservation level of 1,550 feet on August 13, with live storage recorded at 5.580 million acre-feet (MAF) and storage at 100 percent. The dam received an average inflow of 257,600 cusecs, while total outflow stood at 256,800 cusecs.
The Indus River flows at 0600 hours showed 266,000 cusecs inflow into Tarbela and 251,600 cusecs outflow.
All 17 power units were operational, while no unit was closed. Tarbela Hydel Power Station generated 115.784 million units of electricity during the last 24 hours, with maximum generation recorded at 4,888 MW and minimum at 3,303 MW. Compared with the corresponding data of 2025, the reservoir level has increased from 1,546.50 feet to 1,550 feet, while live storage has risen from 5.527 MAF to 5.580 MAF.
